It was really nervous!

Lata Meraung has an amazing waterfall and it is located in Jerantut, Pahang.

I’ve spent my weekend in Jerantut with my other four friends. Nad, BABER (main cast in this entry), Zulaikha and Iwa.We arrived there around 10 a.m. It was a bit relief when I saw there was another family having picnic nearby our port.

When I looked at the water just underneath the waterfall, “owh, tempat yang gelap tu mesti dalam” crossed in my mind and spoke it out to my friends.

Nad, Baber, Iwa and Zulaika already got into the water. The water was about their knees. It was damn cold. I couldnt get into the water instead of sitting on the big rock, not so far from the waterfall.

I dunno why this one-stubborn-lady a.k.a BABER still wanna head to waterfall whereas she had to go through the dark spot, i mean, the very deep part of the water.

Man, it was really nervous + gelabah + speechless + actless + anxious + worried and all feelings became one when I saw Baber started to panic. The water was about her nose. She began to wave asking for aid. But she still smiled (musykil aku). Zulaikha spontaneously tried to reach Baber’s hand and she also got into the dark spot! OMG. OMG. Both of them were suffocated!

Since they were 3 meter directly from my eyes, I felt really ………… Weh, cuak gilos! I started to scream “tolooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooongggg” but the makcik around that place just looking at me and buat bodo. Ooo man, pekak ke hape orang tue nie!!!

Nad dan Iwa pulak cuba selamat kan dengan cara keretapi (haha).

BTW, I tried to extend my leg for them to grab but FAILED.

Once again. Also FAILED!

Damn!

Suddenly I glimpsed a headline of tomorrow’s newspaper, “Dua pelajar UPM mati lemas di Lata Meraung”……

Dalam hati aku : “Baber nape senyum nie, mengucap laaaaahhhh!! “

I just made another effort, I extended my hand then suddenly Zulaikha reached it. ALHAMDULILLAH.

I was shaking for a while. Speechless.

But after 10 minutes, I gave a non-stop-nagging dedicated special for BABER.

Summary of my hols~

I stride to my final year in two days time. I almost finish my hols and it is as though tremendously great holiday overall.

It was really fun to know Kak Nurul (UIA) and Ira (PTPL). Oke fine, also Bala (PTPL) :p We ultimately finished our internship in Hospital Putrajaya! What a relief.

Holiday = Eat, eat and eat. Till my cholesterol level reach 5.9! What the heck. Haiyooo. :’( For raising my HDL level, I must consistently work out. This is one of the method. Aktiviti sihat 6 sekawan kan!

Then we three stooges (Baber Nad Yatie) flew to Terengganu for a vacation. It was very happening. You know why. We didnt pay for any accommodation fee hihi. We stayed in Zulaikha’s and Farah’s hse. They hv such an extremely generous family. Plus, Zulaika’s mom gave us free-of-charge pile of keropok lekor. Thanx buddies. Muah muah.

I played kite after about a decade I left this kind of activity. Aaaaa percayalah ianya amat seronok!

Ini adalah impian sejak 3 tahun dulu. Nak ade kapel t-shirt. Hehe.

And I finished reading 2 and a half novels throughout the holiday hihi ; Remember Me and Confessions of a Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella while Remember When by Judith Mc Naught on the way. :p I also watched Nite at the Musuem 2, Jangan Pandang Belakang Congkak, Drag Me to Hell and Transformer 2 at cinema. They are all such a great movie.

Lastly, I enjoy my hols a lot since I organize my short-2-weeks hols wisely. Happy learning to all biomedic friends!

Last weekend…

Kak Cik : Den dah koba an kek kau, den memang x goma nengok caro si nurul tu buek kojo. Ado ko patut, dio masak toge di jadi kan gulai. Tak ponah di buek orang.

Kak Uda : Haa baguih la dio lari dr umah nie. Tak kuaso den nak bolo bibik macam tu dah. Den takut dio mati sobab den pijak yo. Nenek kato dio jadi kan enek macam lombu. “Hoi Bangun!”. Ado ko patut cakap kek orang tuo macam tu. Kuang aja namo eh tu.

Angah : Kalau aku jumpe memang aku tangan kan aje minah tu. Lempang 10 kali baru puas hati.

Kak Cik : Ngah, kau jangan tak tau, dio belari keluar bawak ikan bilih nak kopek kek luar. Nampak askar punyo pasal. Gata si nurul tu.

Monday : I had learned many things in blood bank. I enjoyed doing everything there.

Tuesday : Result was out! Alhamdulillah.

Wednesday : Went to Hospital Serdang to visit Syahmi. He has been warded for his minor surgery tomorrow. I hope he will be oke. Doakan ya!

Weekend di Kuantan and Kak Anoi Wedding

The truth is I dont hv any idea what to upload in this blog since ive gone through my dull days during my hols :’( Everyday i go to hospital Putrajaya around 7.15 am and will be back around 5.45 pm. Thats my routine. Anyway, I used to occupy my weekend blissfully. Last weekend, I went to Kuantan together with Maslina and Syahmi to pay a visit to my secondary school’s friend, Mong. Alhamdulillah. He apparently seemed okay. We felt glad to see him smiled and laughed.Pray for him ogeh?

For this weekend, i went to Seremban for Kak Anoi wedding. She is my bro-in-law’s youngest sister. What a grand wedding. Sampai menteri besar Negeri Sembilan pon datang kot. Huhu. I reached earlier than mama since I had to make up Syasya because she had been tasked to be a flower girl. Cute gile. After I finished making up Syasya, everybody gave compliment to Syasya “comel nye la hai budak nie”, “cantek nye Syasya!”, “olololo cium sikit budak kiut nie” but suddenly I heard one voice said “tak lawa pon”. It was Sarah! She was very envious because everybody kept on saying Syaya comel. Haha. And lastly I offered to make up Sarah. I powdered her, applied some blusher, eye-shadow, lisptick tadaaaaaaaaaa. Siap!

So, starting from tomorrow, I’m going back to my routine. Practical. 4 more weeks to go! chaiyok Yatie. I’ll be working at histopathology department for 2 weeks. Pray for me. Wassalam~

Stool? Sputum? OMG!

Green stool? Sticky sputum? OMG! That’s what played in my mind during the first day i was placed in microbiology lab. I am doing my practical in microbiology lab for 2 weeks.

About 100 samples i have to culture per day. More than 100 samples per person. A bit tiring and seriously i hv backache doing this sort of thing.

Anyway, i feel free to share my-first-day-experience in microbe lab.

I have to fill in the form for the samples received in microbe lab. Blood. Urine. Stool. Sputum. High Vaginal Swab. Pus. You just named it. I already touched everything. :’(

Most “sweetest” memory ever in microbe lab. I was holding a bottle of stool (stool tu kaler coklat macam cair jugakla!) to copy the ID into the registration form. Suddenly I felt something cold on my hand. OMG! The bottle was actually leaking! Nah.

Luckily i was wearing gloves. Wawawawa. Bau tak usah cakap. Harum semerbak. Tapi name patient dekat botol tu macam hensem oke! Harap name je macam hensem, tapi bau…… mak aih!!! :3

The fourth day i was there, i did a big mistake. I wrongly copied the ID for the patients. I labelled sample for patient A with patient B’s ID and vice versa. What a messy. At last, i realized i did mistakes then I had to start all over again. :’( Double tiring.

Sometimes i enjoy to do this kind of work. Helping the patients. Actually lab result is very important since it determines the dose of the medicine for the patient, what treatment the patient has to go through etc. If the result is inaccurate, the patient might be died. It tells how important lab workers are.

P/S : Kepada rakan-rakan Biomedic, chaiyok! Tunggu turn masing2 ber-lab microbe.

Since I dont hv any holiday for this semester, I used to enjoy my 2-days-holiday-before-industrial-training. Only 2 days! WTH. :’( I just finished my final exam on Friday.

I visited my beloved nenek at kampung on Saturday. Nenek sihat. Alhamdulillah. I told nenek that I’m going to work for 2 months with no salary then nenek gave me RM50! Yey!!!

Sunday :

Me, mama, along, abang zizi, syasya, sarah and maslina went to Armanda to celebrate mama’s birthday. Mama was very happy.

I am a molecule

This 6 minutes video is about air pollution in KL and Kalimantan. This is the synopsis of the presentation:

Safwan (main cast) is an asthmatic patient. He walks in a hustle and bustle of a city. The air in the city is polluted by the fumes released by vehicles. Fumes released contain SO2, NO2 and CO which are very harmful to human body. I am NO2! Sano is SO2 while Dilah is CO.

He wants to go to a place with fresh environment and he plans to go to Hawaii (Tak bole! ramai orang pakai bikini), Bali (tak bole jugak! sebab Asyraf Sinclair ngan Bunga penah comolot kat sini. ops. haha), so he decides to go to Kalimantan.

As he reaches Kalimantan, there is lots of smoke regarding the burning of the jungle. He cannot withstand with the terrible environment and get fainted.

Berlima di Mines

Saturday.

Along asked me a favor, she asked me to take care of her kids since she had to go to UiTM for PTPTN purpose.

Me, Maslina, Syahmi, Syasya and Sarah had fun in Mines. We were shopping, eating and even cruising! It was my third time cruising with Syasya. At counter, I asked the lady in-charged “hm, tiket paling murah berape ye?” hihi. RM22 for an adult and RM17 for a child. I think RM22 is not worth it but i just wanna fulfill Sarah’s dream. She seemed very excited when she saw the lake!

Gejala ketika Biostat..

Me and my coursemates hv to attend biostatistic lab every Thursday, 2-5 p.m in computer lab. Seriously, completing biostatistic task using SPSS 16.0 is very challenging! This biostatistic lab can ruin my mood since i dont understand every single word i hv written in my assignment. But everytime biostat test mark came out, we managed to get the best mark since Dr. Saidi is very generous! Thanx Dr!

But sometimes human gives up..

I really didnt hv any mood to complete biostat assignment just evening.

Yatie : Ooo, henset Ira pon touch screen, cube ko tgk Ber.

Baber : *ambik hp Ira*

Yatie : Eh. Bukan touch screen eh.

5 pimples on left cheek + 6 pimples on forehead. What a stress! I applied Ginvera Reducing Pimples only on top of the pimples as a result i got 11 spots of cream on my face. hihi. I felt insanely hungry and suddenly craved for nasi lemak nearby my hse. I was in blue-green kaften straightly put on my green tudung and drove to Gerai Burger dan Nasi Lemak about 500 meter away from my hse.

Me : Hm, nak nasi lemak satu ye.

Encik penjual : Owh, baru balik keje ke? Eh takkan la balik keje pakai kaften pulak kan. Habis tu dari mane nie?

Me : Dari rumah je.

Encik penjual : Tak keje?

Me : Belajar lagi la.

Encik penjual : Kat mane? Ambik cos ape? Umur berapa?

Me : Biomedic kat UPM. Umur 22. Nape? Umur berape?

Encik penjual : 25. Owh. Tu ape kat muke tu?

Me : Haha. Ubat jerawat. Nak sambal lebih eh.

Encik penjual : Eh, mane boleh. Mak tak bagi.

Me : Haha.

Encik penjual : Keluar rumah memang pakai tudung ke? Tak penah tak pakai?

Me : Aah. Pakai. Tak pernah tak pakai. Berape ringgit ye?

Encik penjual : Tiga ringgit!
